Soft Ball cricket is coming to Blackburn right here at Cherry Tree Cricket Club. The initiative supported by England Cricket, the aim is to teach you how to play and the basic skills you need. The cricket festivals celebrate this new kind of cricket for women, in all sorts of ways. Its on Sunday 5th of May 1PM – 4PM.
Turn up and whack some balls, bowl some balls and catch some. Run about a bit, laugh more than is good for you.
Soft Ball Cricket is about getting out and playing with maximum fun and minimum fuss.
No need for pads because its not a hard ball, no big heavy bat or complicated. It’s a game for absolutely everybody, no matter your skill level, fitness, or age. Normally lasting about two to four hours, we guarantee it will never get boring.
Turn up and we promise you a warm Cherry welcome, included in the team entry fee is a free T-shirt, free bottle of Prosecco, free coaching, music, and fun. No equipment or experience required we will sort all that you need.
So why not bring friends, kids, and family, down to your local Festival and make a day of it? Oh, and it’s no problem if you want to sign up on your own. We’ll find a team for you and introduce you to all your new team mates. There will be plenty of socialising and a few post match drinks no doubt.
