The Harlem Globetrotters of Cricket are coming to Blackburn. A team of ex international cricketers will play a T20 match against a local amateur select and the day will be hosted by, and commentated on, the inimitable Henry Blofeld.

The day will start with a full lunch reception followed by a T20 match and presentation.

The Lashings World XI is a famous travelling team of ex international cricketers and you can see the calibre of player and find our more about the Lashings here. There might never be a chance to hear Henry’s commentary on some of the world’s best cricketers against our local boys. Tickets for the reception are £45 each and entry to T20 match, on the gate, is £5.

12.30pm. The day starts with a lunch reception for 300 guests and players. A specially constructed marquee, overlooking the pitch, will host the lunch with some words from our special guest, Henry Blofeld, followed by the T20 match. The lunch will consist of a full carvery menu which can be viewed here with a dedicated draft, spirit and gin bar in the marquee too. The cost is £45 per person or £450 for a table of 10 – which can include an Lashings player if required. And this includes a grandstand view of the match with a private bar in the Marquee.

4pm. The Lashings World XI will take to the field to play a local amateur select eleven. We’ll witness some of the very best cricketers on

Cherry Tree cricket field  with the unmistakable tones of Henry Blofeld commentating. Gate entry to match will cost £5. A presentation to end proceedings will take place around 7pm, after the match, followed by entertainment in the large marquee. A wonderful day in prospect.
